New Zealand Regional Manager


Kenny Addison, Regional Manager – New Zealand

Kenny has recently joined the ELMO team as our first full time employee to be based in New Zealand. Originally from Scotland, Kenny and his family have lived in New Zealand for almost 9 years.

Bringing a wealth of experience from Learning & Development and Financial Services, Kenny works with decision makers and senior management to deliver strategic HR solutions that are suited to automating and quantifying data in their organisations.

By understanding the client’s specific needs, Kenny works to ensure that the most appropriate elements of the Elmo Talent Management platform are selected, implemented and integrated to optimise an organisation’s strategic HR success.

Danny Lessem, Chief Executive Officer

Technology executive and entrepreneur with over 15 years’ experience in leading Software as a Service (SaaS) companies.

Prior to ELMO, Danny was CEO at Compu Technologies, where he oversaw the transition of the company’s primary business from digital agency to eLearning content provider.

Danny holds BA & LLB qualifications from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. He is based in Sydney, Australia.


Gordon Starkey, Chief Operating Officer

Gordon as the COO is responsible for the day to day leadership and general management of Client Services, Sales & Marketing and Product Development.

With extensive experience across enterprise SaaS solutions including general management, business development, product design, financial management, and strategy, he drives strategic direction and partnership alignment.

Gordon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) and a Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University. He is based in Sydney, Australia.


Trevor Lonstein, Chief Financial Officer

Trevor is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years’ experience in senior Finance positions and leading IT projects with Deloitte in the UK and Australia and with Allens Arthur Robinson. He has also owned and run various businesses in Australia.

Trevor has managed implementations of a variety of financial and accounting systems as well as advanced HR systems.

Trevor holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Finance from the University of South Africa. He joined ELMO in 2014 and is based in Sydney, Australia.


Monica Watt, General Manager Human Resources

Monica plays a major role in ELMO’s performance, leading organisational people strategy, promoting operational effectiveness, and elevating team performance through engagement, and innovative leadership.

Monica has more than 15 years’ experience working across AU/EMEA and has a broad range of experience leading organisational transformations, driving large scale growth, talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning.

Monica holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Human Resources, Grad Diploma Management, and is working towards a MBA: Human Resources. She is based in Sydney, Australia.


Samuel Sun, Chief Technology Officer

Samuel has more than 10 years’ experience in information technology roles within the Enterprise SaaS space.

As CTO at ELMO, Samuel is responsible for setting the overall direction for technology in the organisation and he manages the strategy, architecture, engineering, design, governance and information security functions for the company.

Samuel hold a Masters in Information Technology from the University of NSW. He is based in Sydney, Australia.


Darryl Garber, Head of Corporate Development & Strategy

With 7 years experience in sales, marketing, corporate finance and management strategy, Darryl’s role is to source, evaluate and execute ELMO’s growth strategy.

This includes corporate financing activities, expansion strategy, mergers & acquisitions and go-to-market products.

Darryl holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from Kaplan University and a MBA (Dean’s List) from Bond University. He is based in Sydney, Australia.
